We collaborate with clients to drive innovation, ensuring project success and business growth.Decskill Boost: Equipping our team with the latest tools and methodologies, we optimize Time-to-Market and deliver innovative solutions exceeding client expectations.Decskill Connect: Our team collaborates closely with clients to implement and manage IT infrastructures that generate long-term value.At Decskill, we believe that by nurturing and empowering our people to confront the challenges of digital transformation, we create value not only for our clients but also for our entire ecosystem, fostering a digital community dedicated to growth and progress.We are looking for a Java Senior Developer for a project in Lisbon (hybrid model).Responsibilities:• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications on cloud platforms• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements• Develop high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the codebase is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to industry standards• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex problems• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and release notes• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java, cloud computing, and software development• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives• Collaborate with DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications• Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirementsRequirements:Bachelor or master's in engineering, Computer Science, Management, or related fields;More than 5 years of experience in Java (Java 17), including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Java EE, and microservices architectureExperience with cloud environments, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native services, and PostgreSQLStrong background in CI/CD, DevOps tools (GitLab CI, Argo CD, Jenkins), Linux, scripting, and automationSolid knowledge of REST APIs, security best practices, and modern software development standardsExperience or knowledge of Event driven architecture using kafka, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, ELK strack, MongoDB, Camunda, Pyhton or BDD / Cucumber / Gherkin (is a plus);Fluency in English (mandatory) and in French (is a plus)If you're interested in this job please send your CV in English to marta.fonseca@decskill.com with reference "MF/JAVA"Decskill is committed to equality and non-discrimination with all our talents.
