Art Director / Creative Director – Motion Graphics & Interactive Experiences (Remote) Lead creative vision. Shape how science is understood worldwide. We're looking for an Art Director / Creative Director to lead the creative vision of our Motion Graphics & Interactivity team , setting standards, driving innovation, and elevating the quality of everything we deliver. The role This is a senior creative leadership role at the intersection of motion design, interactivity, and UX . You'll own creative direction across projects, from early concepts and storyboards to interactive video interfaces and final delivery, ensuring that every output meets the highest standards of clarity, creativity, and strategic intent. You'll combine hands-on creative judgment with strategic oversight , mentoring designers while shaping our long-term creative approach to interactive and motion-based storytelling. What you'll do Lead visual direction across motion graphics and interactive projects, setting creative standards and best practices Review, refine, and sign off on key client deliverables , ensuring exceptional quality and consistency Mentor and develop designers across creative and technical dimensions Translate complex medical and scientific information into clear, engaging, and visually compelling narratives Collaborate closely with design leads, medical writers, animators, and project managers to optimize workflows Ensure designs are built with motion and interactivity in mind , integrating seamlessly into After Effects and Figma pipelines Champion UX and user-centered design methodologies in interactive projects Act as a trusted creative point of contact, providing clarity and direction across teams What we're looking for Required 3+ years of experience in Art Direction or Creative Direction , including team leadership Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma Deep understanding of motion design principles, animation workflows, and production pipelines Proven ability to define creative vision, set visual standards, and inspire teams Solid experience applying UX frameworks (design thinking, user-centered design) to interactive projects Confidence in client-facing presentations and creative decision-making Strong communication and collaboration skills in remote, international teams Fluent English (written and spoken) Comfortable working in Windows-based environments Nice to have Experience directing interactive video or multimedia experiences Background in healthcare, pharma, or scientific communication Advanced motion design or rigging skills Availability to work on a US-aligned schedule (12:00–20:30 CET) Why join BlueNovius?100% remote , full-time role Lead high-impact projects for global pharma and life sciences brands Real creative ownership and influence on how science is communicated A collaborative, curious team that values clarity, creativity, and continuous learning Work at the forefront of motion, interactivity, and healthcare communication Ready to bring science to life through design and interactivity?
