Appian Technical Lead / Solution Architect
We are looking for a hands-on Appian Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of enterprise-grade applications and process automation solutions.
The challenge
You will own the technical architecture of Appian solutions, defining how they scale, integrate and stay secure, while staying close to the code. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a purely governance-focused one: you will review implementations, solve the hardest technical problems and guide the development team through delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical design and architecture of Appian solutions, ensuring scalability, performance and security.
Define application architecture, integration approaches, data models, reusable components and development standards.
Guide Appian developers through design reviews, code reviews and troubleshooting.
Stay hands-on on complex components and critical technical issues.
Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems, databases, APIs and external services.
Support estimations, solution planning and delivery, flagging risks and dependencies early.
Act as the senior technical point of contact for Appian topics with client stakeholders.
Requirements
6+ years of professional Appian experience, with significant hands‐on development.
Experience as an Appian Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Solution Architect or similar.
Deep knowledge of SAIL interfaces, process models, records and data models, expression rules, integrations and Web APIs, security and application configuration.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL/databases, authentication, integration patterns and enterprise architectures.
Excellent communication and stakeholder‐management skills.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Availability for a technical validation interview.
Nice to have
Appian certifications, particularly advanced or lead-level.
CI/CD and automated deployment experience.
Experience with distributed or international delivery teams and Agile/Scrum.
Full time, hybrid (1 day/week on site), long term.
