Gardener - Contract Position in Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Funchal, Portugal on a contract basis. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and caring for our outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and other landscapes. Responsibilities
Plan and execute gardening tasks such as planting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and weeding Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and applying pesticides as needed Ensure all plants and flowers are healthy and well-maintained Install new plants and create new landscape designs as per client requests Follow safe gardening practices to prevent accidents or damage to property Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed Communicate with clients to understand their preferences and provide excellent customer service Work with a team or independently depending on the project Requirements
Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role In-depth knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and their care requirements Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, etc. Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively Attention to detail to ensure all outdoor spaces are well-maintained at all times Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this contract position.
Location:
This position is based in Funchal, Portugal. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Contract: This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Gardener is required for this role. We are looking for candidates who have at least 2 years of experience in gardening or landscaping. Freshers: This position is not suitable for freshers. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in gardening or landscaping.
