We are looking for a
Junior Java Backend Developer
to join an agile development team focused on building and enhancing scalable software solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend applications, working with modern technologies and best practices while continuously developing your technical expertise.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional at the beginning of your career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in enterprise-grade software development.
Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using
Java Spring
and modern development frameworks. Contribute to the implementation of
microservices-based architectures
that support scalable and resilient applications. Execute assigned development tasks with increasing autonomy while following coding standards and best practices. Analyse and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions. Collaborate closely with team members to improve software components, processes, and overall product quality. Participate actively in
Agile ceremonies , including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Ensure deliverables meet quality, performance, and business requirements.
Required Skills Strong experience with
Java Spring . Good understanding of software development principles and backend application design. Familiarity with
Microservices Architecture . Experience working with
Amazon SQS . Knowledge of
MongoDB
and
MySQL . Understanding of containerization technologies such as
Docker
and
Kubernetes . Experience working in Agile development environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
