Our ambition is to deliver an authentic, high-quality hospitality experience rooted in simplicity, care, and local identity.Role DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the overall operations of Hotel Praia do Sol.This is a full-time, on-site leadership role starting Spring / Summer 2026, reporting directly to the founding partners. The General Manager will be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, team leadership, and ensuring a consistently high-quality guest experience.This position requires a hands-on approach within an independent lifestyle hotel. Flexibility is expected, as operational presence may occasionally be required during evenings and weekends.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily hotel operations, including accommodation, restaurant, wellness areas, and public spacesLead, manage, and develop hotel teams, fostering a professional and guest-focused cultureEnsure high standards of service, hospitality, and guest satisfactionManage budgets, costs, and financial performanceCoordinate with suppliers, partners, and local stakeholdersEnsure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standardsUphold the hotel's values around authenticity, sustainability, and community connectionQualificationsProven experience as a Hotel Manager / General Manager or in a senior hospitality operations roleStrong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skillsHands-on, proactive, and autonomous working styleFluent Portuguese is mandatory; professional working English requiredInterest in lifestyle hospitality and locally rooted projectsWhat We OfferFull-time, permanent positionStart date: Spring / Summer 2026Key leadership role within an independent hospitality projectDirect collaboration with founders and long-term development opportunities
