Business Analyst – Data Quality (Senior)Reference: 202657About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Data Quality to join our Data Governance team. In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and data teams, translating business needs into actionable data quality rules, metrics, and remediation plans. You will ensure alignment with the organization's Data Quality Index and governance principles while supporting decision-making at both operational and executive levels.Start date: ASAPDuration: 12 months+Daily rate: EUR 250-300Key Responsibilities:Business AnalysisGather and analyze requirements in data-intensive environmentsPerform process mapping, define user stories, and support UAT activitiesTranslate business needs into data quality requirements and solutionsData Quality & GovernanceConduct data profiling and define data quality rules and scoring modelsPerform root cause analysis and support remediation planningEnsure consistency with data governance frameworks and standardsContribute to metadata management initiativesReporting & InsightsDevelop Power BI dashboards and metrics to track data quality performancePrepare SteerCo-level reporting and decision-support materialsStakeholder ManagementFacilitate workshops and working sessions with business and data stakeholdersCollaborate with Data Owners, Stewards, Architects, and IT teamsSupport governance forums and decision-making processesRequired Skills & Experience: ExperienceSenior level: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in data-driven environmentsProven experience in Data Quality and Data Governance initiativesTechnical SkillsStrong SQL skillsExperience with Microsoft Power BIFamiliarity with data governance tools such as:Microsoft PurviewCollibraInformatica (or similar)KnowledgeStrong understanding of data governance frameworksExperience with metadata management practicesLanguages & International ExposureFluent English (spoken and written)Experience working with international, multicultural teamsSoft SkillsStrong attention to detail and analytical mindsetAbility to work autonomously and adapt in dynamic environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsFast learner with a proactive attitude
