Job DescriptionWe are seeking a data-driven Business Developer with a hybrid profile: strong analytical capabilities combined with hands-on commercial execution. You'll own the entire B2B sales cycle—from building targeted prospect lists to closing deals.This role combines strategic thinking (segmentation, prioritization, measurement) with field execution (prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, closing). You'll report to the Head of Business Development and work closely with Sales, Operations, Product, and Marketing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and refine ICP/segmentation based on data analysis (account prioritization and opportunity scoring)Build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn) with consistent cadences and structured follow-upConduct discovery calls and qualification (need, decision-makers, timeline, budget, next steps)Present value proposition and use cases with focus on customer business outcomesManage pipeline in CRM, maintain accurate forecasts, and ensure data quality and hygieneNegotiate commercial terms and close opportunitiesCollaborate with Marketing and Product on campaigns, segment messaging, and funnel optimizationIdentify objection patterns and opportunities to improve the sales processBuild relationships with key stakeholders in target accounts (fleet managers, facilities, operations)Track and report on key metrics: pipeline generation, conversion rates, deal velocityRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in B2B Business Development/Sales (strong outbound component preferred)Proven track record of pipeline generation and deal closure (not just inbound lead management)Strong analytical skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, comfort working with data to drive decisionsExperience with multi-channel outbound prospecting and consistent follow-upOrganization and discipline: pipeline management, CRM rigor, systematic approachClear communication, negotiation skills, and consultative selling approachFluent Portuguese (native preferred) and professional EnglishAbility to work in hybrid model with presence in Aveiro when neededDemonstrable B2B sales results with measurable metricsData-driven approach to the sales processNice to HaveExperience in energy, utilities, mobility, SaaS, telecom, or complex B2B servicesMulti-stakeholder and enterprise sales experience (2-6 month sales cycles)Familiarity with tools: Pipedrive/HubSpot/Salesforce, Sales Navigator, outbound sequencers (Apollo, Lemlist), basic BISQL knowledge or experience with data analysis tools (Metabase, Looker)Understanding of electric mobility or energy marketsExisting network in Portuguese B2B marketWhat We OfferReal impact on energy transition and sustainable mobilityFast-paced environment with high autonomy and ownershipCompetitive package (base salary + variable compensation based on performance)Hybrid work model with flexibility (Aveiro office)Direct exposure to strategic company initiativesGrowth opportunities in expanding company (50+ team members)24 days vacationModern office environment and EV test drivesLearning budget for sales training and conferencesPerformance ExpectationsPipeline generation: €500k+ per quarter (after ramp-up period)Closing target: €150k+ per quarter (negotiable based on experience)Outbound activity: 50+ prospects per weekConversion metrics: Tracked and optimized continuouslyInterview ProcessInitial screening (30 min)Case study: Present an outbound strategy for a specific segment (take-home)Sales simulation with Head of Business Development (1 hour)Data analysis exercise and discussion (45 min)Cultural fit with leadership teamReference checks
