Description:

Seniority: Intermediate/Senior
Working model: Hybrid (60% remote; 40% in person)
Language: Portuguese (minimum C2) | English
Location: Lisboa

Mandatory (Requirements)
- Strong expertise in networking with in-depth knowledge of BGP, MPLS, Firewalls, ACI, and Load Balancers.
- Experience in network design, particularly in voice and data center projects.
- Proficiency in routing, switching, and firewall configuration.

Hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ACI and ASR;
- F5 Load Balancers ;
- Fortinet and Checkpoint Firewalls ;
- Ability to work in a data center environment, integrating multiple platforms ;
- Experience in engineering teams ;
- Ability to integrate various types of services (IT, OSS, and others) ;
- Basic security knowledge, considering security as one of the multiple aspects of the project, following established guidelines ;
- Ability to support clarification, correction, and improvement tasks, with a problem-solving mindset rather than focusing solely on troubleshooting ;

Daily Tasks
- Design and implement network solutions for data center environments, ensuring compliance with security guidelines ;
- Define configurations for routing, switching, and firewall policies ;
- Support service integration across IT, OSS, and other platforms ;
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to develop optimized and secure networking solutions ;
- Perform corrective actions when required ;
- Ensure best practices in network security and reliability while working with different teams, including security specialists .

Non-Mandatory (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with data center monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios) ;
- Basic understanding of network security principles, with security validation handled by a separate team ;
- Understanding of network automation concepts, although not required.

Relevant certifications:
- Cisco (Routing & Switching, ACI - CCNP or higher) ;
- Fortinet (NSE4 or above) ;
- Checkpoint (CCSA/CCSE) ;
- F5 Load Balancer certifications.
