Sports Physiotherapist

We are introducing a UK & European-trained sports physiotherapist to a private family whose principal residence is in Dubai, the UAE. It is a permanent, live-in appointment with the family, with annual leave. From the first day, you travel with the family wherever its diary takes it, across several countries. If you are based in Portugal, trained in the UK or Europe and ready to relocate, we would like to hear from you. Hands-on care leads: soft tissue release and joint mobilisation, followed by assisted stretching. Neuromuscular techniques and corrective exercise consolidate each treatment. The aim is comfortable, efficient movement for principals with demanding, travelling lives. Sessions take place in a private treatment room at the residence and wherever the family travels. Requirements Physiotherapy degree obtained in the UK or Europe, with current registration in the country where you trained. Several years of sports or musculoskeletal practice with a strong manual therapy component. Work with professional clubs, national squads or elite athletes is a clear advantage. Confident with movement analysis, biomechanical assessment and corrective exercise. Able to start within six weeks, relocate alone and travel with the family at short notice. Fluent English and calm, discreet conduct; a strict NDA applies. Eligibility rests on UK or European training, not on nationality. Benefits From £60,000 a year gross, depending on experience. Accommodation is provided free of charge, in or beside the residence. Flights and travel are always paid for by the family. Medical insurance is covered; professional indemnity insurance is not included. Permanent employment with the family, with annual leave. The family arranges and pays for visas for international travel. Time off and days off follow the family's diary, as is usual in private households. The salary is agreed directly between the family and the clinician; each clinician should take advice from their own tax adviser on whether the income is taxable in their circumstances. Engagement essentials Live-in and single-status: the clinician relocates alone. Flexibility on hours and destinations is essential, as the family's plans can change quickly. The engagement is contracted directly between the family and the clinician, and all local arrangements (visa, licensed entity, coordination with local clinics) remain with the family's own office and advisers.
