*We're looking for a Head of Finance to lead the finance function across both companies in the group with full ownership of treasury, accounts, reporting and investor relations. This is the most senior finance hire in the company: reporting directly to leadership, with high exposure to the board and investors, and central to building out the finance team and processes as Datamentors scales from pilot phase into serial production.

Responsibilities:

- *Lead and grow the finance team across both companies, including hiring, mentoring and building out processes as Datamentors scales
*
- *Define the group's financial strategy — capital structure, treasury policy and tax planning — reporting directly to leadership and the board
*
- *Manage cash flow across both companies, including continuous monitoring (actuals vs. budget) and rolling forecast updates
*
- *Prepare, consolidate and analyse monthly accounts, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information
*
- *Manage subscriptions and operating expenses, in coordination with accounting
*
- *Run monthly actuals-vs-budget analysis by business dimension, identifying variances and defining corrective actions
*
- *Build and maintain financial models and 2-3 year business forecasts
*
- *Lead fundraising rounds (equity and/or debt), due diligence and the ongoing relationship with investors and funds
*
- *Manage relationships with banks, external auditors and institutional partners
*
- *Produce structured financial reporting and generate insights to support strategic decision-making
*
- *Ensure legal, tax and regulatory compliance across both entities in the group
*
- *Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls
*

Requirements:

- *8+ years of experience in Finance, with a track record as Financial Controller, Head of Finance, Finance Director or an equivalent leadership role
*
- *Proven track record leading or building the finance function at startups or fast-growing scale-ups
*
- *Solid knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and financial planning (budgeting and forecasting)
*
- *Experience leading, hiring and developing finance teams
*
- *Direct experience running fundraising rounds and managing relationships with investors or funds
*
- *Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and strategic business thinking
*
- *Autonomous, organised profile, with strong communication skills across multiple stakeholders — leadership, investors, banks and auditors

- *Experience in startups, or capital-intensive industries
*
- *Proficiency with financial analysis, ERP and reporting tools
