Civil Engineer - Part Time (Almada, Portugal)
We are in search of a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team on a part time basis in Almada, Portugal.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining structures such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
You will work closely with architects and construction teams to ensure that projects are completed within budget and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and planning construction projects
Conducting site investigations and surveys to determine project feasibility
Preparing cost estimates and timelines for project proposals
Overseeing the construction process to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
Managing project budgets and schedules
Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
Conducting quality control inspections to ensure safety standards are met
Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
Maintaining accurate records of project progress
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 2 years experience in civil engineering or construction management
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
This is a part time position with a salary of ****$ per month.
The ideal candidate should have their own accommodation in Almada or be willing to commute.
