About the Role Glocal Tech Clientis hiring an
AI Customer Tech Advisor
to join our growing customer support team in
Lisbon.
This is a technical, customer-facing role supporting users of AI-powered products and services.
We're looking for an English-speaking tech support professional who is already based in or eligible to work in Portugal and can start immediately.
If you have hands-on
technical support experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and enjoy helping customers solve real problems with AI tools, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line and escalated
technical support
to English-speaking customers via chat, email, and/or phone
Troubleshoot product issues related to AI-powered software, integrations, and platform functionality
Diagnose bugs, reproduce technical issues, and coordinate with Product/Engineering teams for resolution
Document recurring issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base and FAQs
Maintain high CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) and SLA compliance on all tickets
Educate customers on product features, workarounds, and best practices
Identify patterns in customer issues and flag product improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications
Mandatory:
Proven prior experience in a technical support / tech support / IT helpdesk role
Fluent/native-level (written and spoken) — C1 or higher
Valid work permit or legal right to work in Portugal
Based in or willing to relocate immediately to
Lisbon
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills-ul>
Comfortableworking with ticketing systems, CRMs, and support software
Excellent written communication skills for technical explanations
Ability to start
ASAP
Nice to Have
Prior experience supporting AI/SaaS/tech products
Portuguese language skills (not required, but a plus)
Familiarity with tools such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, or similar
Basic understanding of APIs, integrations, or software troubleshooting concepts
