We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry Level Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Lisbon As an Entry Level Back-End Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end of our web applications This includes designing coding testing and debugging server-side components to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of our website You will work closely with our front-end developers and UIUX designers to create a seamless user experienceResponsibilities
Design code test and debug server-side components of web applicationsCollaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicWrite reusable code and libraries for future useOptimize website performance for maximum speed and scalabilityTroubleshoot and fix issues related to back-end functionalityEnsure high-quality standards by conducting code reviewsStay updated on emerging technologies in back-end developmentRequirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fieldProven experience with programming languages such as Java Python or Ruby on RailsFamiliarity with front-end languages such as HTML CSS and JavaScriptKnowledge of database management systems like MySQL or MongoDBUnderstanding of server-side templating languages such as EJS or HandlebarsExperience with version control systems like GitStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications
Previous internship or project experience in back-end development is a plusKnowledge of Agile development methodologiesExperience working with RESTful APIsSalary **$ City LisbonOur company provides accommodation for employees relocating from another city or countryVisa sponsorship may also be available for qualified candidates
