Software Engineer, Asset Store Content Operations

Lisbon, Portugal Company: Jobio (Client/Employer: Jobgether) Job Reference: 84b7cd**c**ce**a80 This role focuses on building and operating the automation systems that keep a large-scale digital marketplace secure, compliant, and high quality.
You will develop advanced static scanning, security checks, and tooling to protect creators and users at scale.
Your work will influence platform trust, performance, and user experience in a fast-moving, technically rich environment.
Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automated scanning systems to analyze asset packages and detect risky patterns Develop and operate static analysis tools to inspect dependencies, binaries, registries, and package structures Implement security checks, compliance rules, and quality standards using policy-as-code and CI integrations Document findings, generate actionable reports, and recommend block, flag, or allow decisions Continuously improve detection accuracy by reducing false positives and enhancing scanning logic Collaborate with security, platform, and tooling teams to improve workflows and automation pipelines Contribute to archive scanning, folder hygiene checks, and overall content governance improvements Qualifications Strong working knowledge of Unity, including ability to read, write, and debug C# code using common APIs Experience developing scripts and tools for static scanning, automation, and reporting Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD runners Experience authoring detection rules and managing false positives and negatives Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to work in a fast-evolving technical environment Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Python or Golang is a strong plus Familiarity with 3D engines, developer tooling, or security engineering concepts is an advantage Benefits Competitive monthly gross salary range of €41,800 to €62,600, based on experience and location Flexible working arrangements supporting work-life balance Comprehensive health, life, and disability insurance Employee stock ownership and competitive retirement or pension plans Generous paid vacation and personal leave Parental leave and family support programs Mental health and wellbeing initiatives Training, learning, and professional development programs Employee assistance programs and global support services #J-***-Ljbffr
