WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll join our Enterprise Technology team, part of Bain's digital capabilities practice. In this multidisciplinary group, you'll help clients modernize their technology strategy, architecture, and systems—aligning technology with business goals to drive efficiency, agility, and innovation. You'll develop enterprise-wide solutions, optimize cloud and data architectures, and integrate AI to enable scalable end-to-end digital transformations.
Within Enterprise Technology, you will work closely with our Architecture & Data Solutions team, as well as colleagues across AI, Insights & Solutions and industry practices. Together, we help clients solve complex technology challenges and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As an Enterprise Technology Architecture & Data Solution Practice Consultant, you will play a key role in building, evolving, and commercializing Bain's Architecture & Data Solutions offerings. You will help shape our intellectual property, develop new solution capabilities, strengthen partnerships, and support client teams in delivering exceptional outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, product development, and knowledge management. You will collaborate with experts, architects, consultants, and case teams to codify leading practices, develop innovative tools and diagnostics, and bring differentiated solutions to market.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive Solution Strategy and Innovation
Build and maintain a competitive fact base to inform solution strategy and investment priorities
Identify solution gaps and opportunities for differentiation
Evaluate ecosystem partners, vendors, and emerging technologies to strengthen Bain's offerings
Develop thought leadership on enterprise architecture, data foundations, cloud, and infrastructure capabilities
Develop and Enhance Solution Offerings
Collaborate with experts and architects to evolve Architecture & Data Solutions products
Translate client work into scalable methodologies, tools, and intellectual property
Partner with Knowledge Management teams to codify best practices and case experience
Maintain regular engagement with case teams to identify emerging client needs and opportunities
Support Client Teams and Knowledge Sharing
Advise case teams on architecture and data-related topics across a range of client situations
Deliver onboarding sessions, training programs, and solution bootcamps
Support development and maintenance of internal knowledge resources
Selectively contribute to client delivery through diagnostics, workshops, and specialized expertise
Enable Commercial Growth
Support go-to-market strategy development through market intelligence, win/loss analysis, and competitive insights
Develop proposal content, sales collateral, microsites, and commercialization materials
Enhance and expand diagnostic capabilities, including AI-enabled tools that generate insights from structured and unstructured data
Provide proposal and pitch support in areas of expertise
Support expert network management and deployment analytics
Collaborate Across the Bain Ecosystem
Act as a connector across practices, capability teams, and ecosystem partners
Coordinate stakeholders to maximize team effectiveness and impact
Contribute to internal and external marketing initiatives that showcase Bain's expertise and solutions
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of professional services experience with a bachelor's degree, including experience in technology or IT
Alternatively, 4–5 years of relevant experience with an MBA or master's degree
Current or recent consulting experience at the Consultant or Manager level within Bain or a comparable consulting environment
Expertise in enterprise architecture, data strategy, data foundations, cloud, infrastructure, or related technology domains
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
Demonstrated ability to independently drive workstreams from concept through execution
Experience conducting complex analyses and synthesizing findings for executi
