We are in need of a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal.
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to move materials and perform tasks on construction sites or other work locations.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
Perform daily pre- and post-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
Safely load and unload materials using the appropriate equipment
Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
Maintain a clean work area by removing debris and performing general maintenance on equipment
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
Possess valid certification or license for operating heavy equipment in Portugal (or willing to obtain)
Ability to read project plans and follow instructions from supervisors
Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
Salary The salary for this position is 900$ per month.
Location This job is located in Funchal, Portugal.
