Junior Java Back-End Equação IT is recruiting a Junior Java Back-End to join a challenging international project, featuring a strong technical component and long-term collaboration opportunities.

What we are looking for: ✅ 2+ years of professional experience; ✅ Proficiency in both English and Portuguese (at least C1 level); ✅ Must currently live in Portugal; ✅ Develop and maintain Java microservices for Checkout, MyAccount, and ODR Processing products under the guidance of senior engineers; ✅ Implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs following client's OpenAPI documentation standards; ✅ Write unit and integration tests; contribute to pipeline quality gates (SonarQube, Snyk); ✅ Participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives; ✅ Follow established coding standards, security guidelines, and pull request processes via GitLab; ✅ Support integration of IAM flows (Keycloak, Okta, OIDC) with guidance from senior peers; ✅ Proactively engage in the structured upskilling program provided by Accenture SMEs.
