Entry Level Turner in Faro, Portugal
We are hiring an Entry Level Turner to join our team in Faro, Portugal.
As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the machinery used to shape and form metal parts for various projects.
This is a full-time position with no experience required, making it a great opportunity for those looking to start their career in the field.
Responsibilities
Operate machinery such as lathes and drills to shape and cut metal pieces according to specifications
Monitor equipment for any malfunctions and perform routine maintenance as needed
Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production of parts
Use various hand tools and measuring instruments to inspect finished products for quality control
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work with your hands
