Part‐Time Typesetter in Lisbon
We are seeking a detail‐oriented and efficient Typesetter to join our publishing team in Lisbon on a part‐time basis.
As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and typesetting text, images, and graphics for various print and digital publications.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a flexible schedule and wants to gain experience in the publishing industry.
Responsibilities:
Format text, images, and graphics according to established design standards
Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy
Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to meet project deadlines
Maintain consistency in layout, fonts, and styles across all publications
Troubleshoot any technical issues related to typesetting software
Requirements:
Previous experience as a typesetter or in a similar role preferred but not required
Proficient in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Salary: ****$ per month (based on 20 hours/week)
Location: Lisbon (remote work options may be available)
