Your New Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and enhancing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platforms. Working closely with architecture, development, and operations teams, you will help drive cloud best practices, automation initiatives, and platform reliability across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimise enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks and automation capabilities.
Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
Collaborate with development teams to improve cloud adoption and DevOps maturity.
Manage and optimise cloud environments with a strong focus on security, performance, and resilience.
Provide technical expertise in the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud-based Web Apps and related services.
Contribute to cloud governance, operational excellence, and engineering standards.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Proven experience in a Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering role.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and deployment automation.
Experience with Azure Web Apps, including deployment, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and identity management.
Scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within complex, enterprise-scale environments.
Cloud certifications would be considered an advantage.
