Ergomed seeks a Junior PV Officer with pharmacovigilance case processing experience to manage Individual Case Safety Reports, handle adverse event documentation, and support regulatory compliance activities. The role includes mentoring junior staff and serving as a local pharmacovigilance contact for designated regions.
Responsibilities
Process Individual Case Safety Reports from multiple sources per regulatory requirements and client timelines
Manage serious adverse events, unblinding, clinical trial reconciliation, and safety plan reviews
Perform ICSR follow-up, data reconciliation, and medical coding using MedDRA and WHO standards
Mentor and train junior employees within the pharmacovigilance department
Act as Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance and Person Responsible for Local Screening as assigned
Requirements
Life science or biomedical degree (chemistry, biology, biotechnology, veterinary science)
Demonstrated experience in pharmacovigilance case processing
Fluent English, spoken and written
Advanced proficiency in MS Office and technical systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organization, delegation, planning, and time management abilities
Team collaboration and attention to detail
