VR AR developer vacancy in Funchal Portugal Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) Developer As a VR/AR Developer, you will be responsible for creating and developing immersive virtual and augmented reality experiences.
You will work closely with a team of designers and developers to bring ideas to life using cutting-edge technology.
This role requires experience in Unity or Unreal Engine, as well as proficiency in C#, C++, or other programming languages.
Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve will be essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement VR/AR experiences using Unity or Unreal Engine Collaborate with designers and developers to bring concepts to life Optimize performance for different platforms and devices Troubleshoot technical issues and bugs Stay updated on industry trends and new developments in VR/AR technology Communicate project progress and updates with team members Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Minimum of 2 years experience working with VR/AR development Proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine Strong knowledge of C#, C++, or other programming languages Experience optimizing performance for different platforms and devices Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve Excellent communication skills Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one) Preferred: Experience with motion tracking technology Knowledge of 3 D modeling software such as Maya or Blender Prior experience working in game development
