Experienced Turner - Funchal, MadeiraWe are hiring an experienced Turner to join our team in Funchal, Madeira.
As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of turning machines to fabricate metal parts and components.
This is a full‐time position with a salary of **$ per month.Responsibilities Set up and operate turning machines according to specificationsRead blueprints and schematics to determine appropriate machining operationsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standardsTroubleshoot and make adjustments as neededMaintain a safe and organized work environmentCollaborate with other team members on projects Requirements At least 3 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing or production settingKnowledge of various turning machines (CNC, lathe, drill press)Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematicsAbility to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)Strong attention to detail and quality control skillsGood communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications Experience working with different types of metals (steel, aluminum, brass)Experience using CAM software for programming CNC machinesPrior experience working in the automotive or aerospace industry Benefits Accommodation providedFree visa and ticket for non‐natives living outside of Madeira Our company values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
