About the OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect / DevOps Engineer to join a strategic Production Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure team within a leading international banking environment.
This role acts as a bridge between Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations teams, ensuring that production requirements are embedded throughout the entire project lifecycle.
As a key technical leader, you will contribute to architecture decisions, cloud adoption, automation initiatives, production readiness, operational excellence, and continuous improvement programs while supporting business‐critical applications used globally.

Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Technical Leadership
Participate in the definition and evolution of technical solutions.
Ensure production, infrastructure, security, and scalability requirements are considered from project inception.
Promote the adoption of standardized and reusable infrastructure services.
Support architectural decisions aligned with business and operational requirements.
DevOps & Infrastructure Engineering
Drive Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives and deployment automation.
Support migration toward fully automated and code-driven infrastructure management.
Facilitate application deployment and operational readiness.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, resilience, and performance.
Production Engineering & Operations
Ensure production and non-production environments are stable, secure, and scalable.
Implement monitoring, observability, and supervision capabilities.
Define and track operational KPIs and service levels.
Ensure backup, recovery, and continuity plans are implemented and regularly tested.
Risk, Security & Compliance
Anticipate and mitigate operational, infrastructure, and security risks.
Conduct technical reviews and production readiness assessments.
Ensure compliance with architecture, security, and operational standards.
Support audit, traceability, and governance requirements.
Team Enablement & Collaboration
Mentor development teams on production best practices.
Promote DevOps culture and operational excellence.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and technical upskilling across teams.
Act as a trusted advisor for project teams regarding infrastructure and production topics.
Mandatory Technical RequirementsCloud & Infrastructure
Strong experience with enterprise cloud environments.
Deep understanding of infrastructure architecture and production systems.
Experience supporting highly available and business-critical platforms.
Containerization & Orchestration
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift.
Experience managing containerized workloads in production environments.
DevOps Toolchain
Strong knowledge of GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Ansible, Mattermost.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
Monitoring & Observability
Experience with Grafana, Dynatrace, Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch).
