Our bakery in Funchal is seeking a skilled and experienced part-time Baker to join our team on a contract basis As a Baker you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads pastries and other baked goods according to our recipes and quality standards This is an excellent opportunity for students or individuals looking for part-time work in the baking industry Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of breads pastries and other baked goods Follow recipes and quality standards to ensure consistency and taste Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking Decorate baked goods with icing glazes and other toppings as needed Clean and maintain work area equipment and tools Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed Adhere to all health and safety regulations Requirements
Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role Ability to follow recipes accurately Knowledge of different types of doughs fillings icings etc Strong attention to detail Excellent time management skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Availability to work on weekends or early mornings Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Salary $***
* per month based on experience Location Funchal Note Preference will be given to candidates who are currently studying in the culinary field or have previous experience working in a bakery This is an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the baking industry
