Contract Turner in Braga We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team in Braga on a contract basis. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of lathes and other cutting tools to shape metal parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and brass, to create parts for different industries. Responsibilities Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment Read and interpret technical drawings to determine specifications for parts Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of finished parts Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects Collaborate with other team members and engineers to troubleshoot issues and improve processes Requirements Proven experience as a Turner or similar role Proficient in operating various types of lathes and machining equipment Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments Strong knowledge of different types of metals and their properties Attention to detail with a focus on producing high‐quality work Good physical stamina as the job may involve standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials Benefits Competitive salary of ****$ per month Free visa sponsorship Free ticket assistance Note: Accommodation is not provided for this position.
