We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Game Developer to join our team in Funchal As a game developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing new games for various platforms You should have a passion for gaming and be able to work in a fast-paced environment This role requires at least 1 year of experience in game development preferably with knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or Java Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate if needed Responsibilities
Design develop and implement new games for different platforms Collaborate with designers and artists to create engaging gameplay experiences Write efficient and maintainable code using programming languages such as C++ or Java Troubleshoot and debug technical issues Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Game Development or related field or equivalent work experience At least 1 year of experience in game development Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++ or Java Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine Passion for gaming and understanding of game design principles Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Salary
This position offers a salary of $***

This job is located in Funchal Portugal Preference will be given to candidates who are able to work on-site but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates Note Accommodation can be provided for the right candidate if needed This job is also suitable for students who are interested in gaining experience in the game development industry
