As aNetwork Automation Engineer, you will help design, automate and operate highly available global network infrastructure across data-center and AWS environments.
You will combine advanced networking expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code and software-driven automation to improve scalability, reliability and operational efficiency.
Working with global Security, Cloud, Infrastructure, DevOps and Application teams, you will help evolve the organization towards an automation-first approach to network engineering.
ResponsibilitiesDrivenetwork automation and Infrastructure-as-Code, creating repeatable and scalable network deployment and operational processes.
Design, implement and operatehighly available global network architecturessupporting business-critical services.
Optimize routing and network performance, with particular focus onBGP, TCP/IP, routing and switching.
Build and evolve modernsoftware-defined data-center networking and load-balancing solutions.
Design scalableAWS network architecturesand collaborate across Cloud, Security, Infrastructure and Application teams.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
ExcellentEnglish communication skillsand confidence working within international, cross-functional teams.
Must be based in Portugal
5+ years of hands-onNetwork Engineeringexperience in enterprise or service-provider environments, with strong TCP/IP, routing, switching andBGPexpertise.
Proven network automation experience usingPython, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab and CI/CDwithin an Infrastructure-as-Code environment.
Experience with modern network technologies;
exposure toAWS networking, SDN, VXLAN/EVPN, F5, firewalls, WAF or DDoS protectionwould be highly valued.
