What will you do?
Ensure the reliability and integrity of enterprise backup and recovery systems.
Manage and administer IBM Storage Protect (TSM) environments, including backup policies and storage pools.
Execute backup monitoring, troubleshooting, and restore operations efficiently.
Administer tape libraries and manage media for robust data retention and compliance.
Automate operational tasks through scripting (Shell, Python) to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
Collaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and DBA teams to ensure seamless integration.
What are we looking for?
At Aubay, our focus is on professionals who bring both technical expertise and the right mindset: 5+ years of experience in backup and storage administration, including at least 3 years of hands‐on experience with IBM Storage Protect (TSM) or Commvault;
Strong experience with IBM Storage Protect (TSM), including backup/restore, archive management and tape libraries;
Practical experience with AIX and Linux, including DB2 and SQL scripting;
Experience with Shell (Bash/KSH) and Python for automation;
Knowledge of VMware backup solutions and RMAN/TDP is a plus;
English B2–C1 level is mandatory;
