Our international client is now searching for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Sustaining Engineer to manage and optimise OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test) operations. The role will focus on ensuring supply, capacity, production delivery and manufacturing performance meet customer and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage OSAT forecasts, WIP movement, raw material inventory and production schedules.
- Drive production pull-ins and recovery actions when required.
- Work directly with OSAT sites to manage production ramps, delivery issues, quality audits and performance reviews.
- Coordinate engineering WIP and downstream packaging/test activities with technology and yield teams.
- Track and report OSAT cycle time, delivery and performance.
- Support Foundry RMA activities and New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes.
Essential Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, supply chain or business preferred.
- 5+ years’ semiconductor manufacturing/planning experience, with strong knowledge of semiconductor planning processes.
- Strong analytical and data-management skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and supplier relationships.
- Strong supplier management skills, including engaging senior/executive stakeholders.
Desirable / Technical Skills
- Semiconductor IC packaging and assembly expertise.
- Experience with WLCSP/bumping technologies.
- Knowledge of packaging industry trends and customer requirements.
