About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global company for a Senior O2C (Order-to-Cash) Specialist (German & English Speakers) based on-site in Porto, Portugal. In this key financial operations role, you will leverage your expertise in Order-to-Cash processes, accounts receivable, and ERP systems to manage financial controls and lead operational excellence within a global business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. Ensure strict adherence to financial controls, compliance frameworks, and internal audit requirements. Manage multi-currency transactions and handle complex financial reporting using advanced Excel and ERP platforms. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating top-tier negotiation and problem-solving skills. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior team members in a supervisory capacity. Requirements Language Proficiency: Strong command of German (written and spoken) and advanced English (C1 Level) .
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience:
5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in O2C / AR / Finance Operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Technical
Skills:
Hands-on proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday) and advanced Excel capabilities. Work Model &
Location:
Readiness to work On-site in Porto, Portugal . Schedule: Standard full-time schedule, Monday to Friday (09:00 to 18:00) .
What We Offer
Permanent employment contract (following a standard 3-month probation period). Competitive monthly compensation paid over 14 months. Monthly welcome bonus for German speakers during the first year of employment. Daily meal allowance. Shared accommodation support (up to 12 months) for eligible candidates relocating from outside Portugal.
