We are looking for a Systems Administrator – AI Driven to join one of our clients in the Insurance sector, in a hybrid work model based in Portugal.

About the Role

As a Systems Administrator (AI Driven), you will play a key role in supporting, automating, and optimizing IT infrastructure within complex corporate environments. You will actively contribute to delivery capacity, technological transformation, and the implementation of AI and automation platforms.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance across cloud and on-premises environments, while integrating smart monitoring and automated workflows into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, support, and optimize Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Administer, monitor, and scale cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
• Oversee and maintain Microsoft 365 platforms and enterprise services.
• Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or equivalent) to optimize operational efficiency and infrastructure lifecycle.
• Support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of AI platforms, AI agents, and intelligent automation systems.
• Ensure robust security controls, identity and access management, and infrastructure observability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and project teams to accelerate delivery and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in System Administration across Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience managing Azure and/or AWS cloud infrastructures.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Solid experience in Microsoft 365 administration.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, security practices, identity management, and observability tools.
• High autonomy, strong problem-solving skills, and a results-driven mindset in complex environments.
• Based in Portugal, with availability to work in a hybrid model (3 days on-site / 2 days remote).
• Immediate or short-term availability to start.

Nice to Have

• Proven experience in projects involving Artificial Intelligence, machine learning platforms, or smart automation tools.
• Familiarity with AI agent architectures or AI-driven operational tools.
• Background in the Financial, Insurance, or Banking sectors.

What We Offer & Working Conditions

• Location: Portugal.
• Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote).
• Contract Duration: Estimated 6 to 12 months (with strong possibility of extension/continuity based on project needs and performance).
