In this instance, we are on the lookout for  professionals to fill the position of Civil Supervisor.

Location: Sines, Portugal

Work Modality:On-site

Responsibilities: 

  • Familiarize yourself with and thoroughly understand the project, identifying potential anomalies, interferences, or changes.
  • Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with technical and safety requirements.
  • Advise contractors on the interpretation of documentation issued by Engineering according to Project Management.
  • Ensure that work schedules are aligned with project objectives and quality standards.
  • Monitor the technical documentation used by construction contractors, confirming the latest approved editions.
  • Conduct daily safety reviews in the field and confirm compliance with the Project and Safety Plans.
  • Collaborate with Site Management and Construction in all aspects of the work, such as Quality Control, progress, deadlines and schedules, certifications, cost control, etc.
  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise contractors and participants in your area/specialty in coordination with the Construction Manager.
  • Coordinate teams, manage budgets, and ensure timely and within-budget delivery.



Requirements:

  • Vocational training or a university degree in a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Civil Supervisor.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards in the chemical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to make effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Good level of English.
