Grid Dynamics, a global software services company driving enterprise-level digital transformation solutions for Fortune 1000 corporations, is looking for an experienced Service Now/DevOps Engineer to be part of our ServiceNow Development team.

Essential functions

Create ServiceNow solutions for an organization using JavaScript, Web Services, MYSQL, and CSS Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications Integrate ServiceNow applications with other programs Experience with ServiceNow DevOps application DevOps Change Velocity to connect data from DevOps tool chain with ServiceNow platform to deliver changes DevOps Config to validate and manage the configuration data of enterprise applications across every stage of the DevOps pipeline Analyze technical development requirements Provide documentation and reports of the analyses Identify any deficiencies within the applications and provide solutions for them Deploy solutions in a test environment Analyze system performance issues Provide expertise for all technical issues related to development Configure and create custom workflows Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality standards are being met Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development with ServiceNow ITSM application Evaluate evolving ServiceNow reporting functionality, remaining cognizant of complex system inter-dependencies and associated business process implications Lead efforts to analyze and optimize report and dashboard performance Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and services Deliver new functionality across applications

Qualifications

Understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM; Ability to review logs and errors in ServiceNow;; Ability to debug and tweak scripts embedded in ServiceNow; Familiarity with the Service Catalog; Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Would be a plus

Proficiency in JavaScript Experience with software development cycles and version control systems (e.g., Git); Familiarity with tools such as Snyk (security scanning), SonarQube (quality scanning), or JUnit (unit testing); Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation tools like Jenkins.
