For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

  •   At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer
  • Experience focuses on data pipeline development and data warehouse architecture
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing platforms such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
  • Experience with cloud technology, cloud architecture, scalable design patterns, CI/CD, DevSecops practices, and microservices
  • Knowledge of containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile framework
  • Experience with Data Technologies such as Azure Data Flow, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vaults, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory
  • Fluency in English (B2)

And as a bonus…  

·        Azure certifications  

·        Experience with programming languages such as Python, PySpark and SQL

·        Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and best practices

·        Knowledge of Data modeling and implementation Design such as Schema Design, Kimball, and Star Schema

·        Experience with TDD

·        Experience with Databricks and DBT

·        Experience with Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery

·        Experience with Airflow for management platform of Data Engineering Pipelines

·        Knowledge of Cloud Based Platform such as AWS or Azure
