About The Role
Global Digital & Business Services (GDBS) is a global unit, located in over 45 countries worldwide, that delivers sustainable business value to Essity and our customers, by driving group wide operational efficiencies through Essity IT, Digital Transformation and Global Business Services (GBS).
Essity IT supports all Business & Global Units and is aligned to Essity’s strategic business priorities. Engaged with our stakeholders we drive Essity's digital journey for sustainable value through innovative and cost-effective solutions.
As the SAP BW/4HANA Developer, you will work directly with business stakeholders. You will support in reviewing business requirements and translating these into functional requirements. You’ll design BW/4 application solutions, review these with our Architects and implement these. For existing solutions, you’ll optimize & enhance the dataflows from interface to query getting the most out of the data and our system landscape. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to find sustainable and well-performing solutions to connect our IT systems, perform root cause analysis and find solutions with support of strong IT colleagues.

What You Will Do
Design data & analytics landscape
Contribute in getting the most out of a new B/4 implementation by bringing valuable experience in the area Support design of data acquisition making use of ODP / SLT / CDS / DataServices / OpenHub / HANA Support IT Architects in future analytics front end decisions making use of Fiori / embedded analytics / AfO / SAC / PowerBi Support in continuously improving Essity’s IT design processes, development standards and guidelines Ensure your skills, knowledge and best practices build up the team's potentialDevelop high performance data & analytics solutions
Work together with business in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the solution Design & implement application solutions within B/4 Get the most out of our B/4 by building hybrid native HANA / BW virtualizations (CalculationViews) Code in ABAP (and AMDP SQLScript) within the context of BWWho You Are
Minimum Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Significant working experience in SAP B/4HANA (or minimally SAP BW on HANA) Excellent knowledge of data warehousing modeling Strong knowledge of S/4 (or minimally R/3-ECC) data in the areas of SD, MM, Logistics and/or Finance Good knowledge of SAP analytical front end tools Fiori, Analysis for Office, SAC Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Teamplayer Knowledge and experience in BW-IP making use of SAC is a plus Knowledge of Data Lake concept, Azure Data Lake, Power BI is a plus Fluent in English (verbally and written), German will be a plus What We Can Offer You
