Role Purpose

To manage the sales activities of public sector sales team and /or network of commission agents in line with the strategic guidelines and policies defined by the company, in order to achieve the sales targets determined by manage the sales activities of public sector sales team and /or network of commission agents in line with the strategic guidelines and policies defined by the company, in order to achieve the sales targets determined by Vodafone.

Key Accountabilities and Decision ownership

Sales plan - define and implement the sales plan (objectives and KPI’s, sales organisation, budget, sales income and action plan) and monitor the activities and performance of the sales team in order to correct possible deviations Sales management – define the segmentation of customers, in line with the sectors considered strategic by Management, to assign a sales person to a specific sector, in order to better achieve the objectives Management & Control of business in progress - Analyse and monitor the most complex business deals to secure their approval, on the basis of the best solution and, finally, close the deal Digital Transformation - apply Vodafone Way of Selling methodology, that helps to improve and create credibility on customers; help our customers with their own transformation plan, challenging them with the digital economy growth, complementing they innovative capability with our products and services  Team management – manage, and coach and motivate the sales force team to achieve/ excel results

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience required

5 years of experience in similar role Track record in Sales management experience or in Key Account management Sales Team Management experience Strategic Planning skills Understanding of the telecoms business in order to the specific needs in the public sector  Capability to make and manage high level relationships (C level and Top Management) High ethical business conduct Economics, Business Administration or similar degree Specific Skills in Public Contracts Legislation knowledge (public acquisitions, CCP) Voice & Mobile Data knowledge Fixed voice & Fixed Data knowledge Information and communications technology knowledge (ICT) Language: Portuguese fluency (mandatory), English.
