We seek a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to spearhead the development of our monitoring solution based on OpenNMS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system administration, and extensive experience with OpenNMS.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of our OpenNMS-based monitoring solution.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements.
3. Develop custom plugins and integrations for OpenNMS as needed.
4. Ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of the monitoring solution.

5. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OpenNMS and related technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Lead Developer or similar role.
3. Extensive experience with OpenNMS and network monitoring technologies. 4. Strong knowledge of Java and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 5. Experience with database systems like PostgreSQL.
6. Familiarity with Linux system administration.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Nice to Have:

1. Certifications related to OpenNMS or network monitoring.
2. Experience with other monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, etc.
3. Proficiency in Ansible for automated configuration management.
4. Experience with Bash scripting for task automation and system management.
