About The Role

Global Digital & Business Services (GDBS) is a global unit, located in over 45 countries worldwide, that delivers sustainable business value to Essity and our customers, by driving group wide operational efficiencies through Essity IT, Digital Transformation and Global Business Services (GBS).

Essity IT supports all Business & Global Units and is aligned to Essity’s strategic business priorities. Engaged with our stakeholders we drive Essity's digital journey for sustainable value through innovative and cost-effective solutions.

As IT Business Analyst - SAP Finance and Controlling - COPC/COPA, you will support the business as the first line of contact. You will create, optimize, and enhance the interfaces as well as fix upcoming issues. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to find sustainable solutions to connect our IT systems, perform root cause analysis and find solutions with support of strong IT colleagues.

What You Will Do

Continuously review existing business processes in collaboration with the business units, propose and realize process optimization; Facilitate workshops or key meetings to capture business requirements and perform as-is analysis, understanding customer and user requirements, their strategies and their goals; Support development of business cases and support the portfolio prioritization process; Support implementation of to-be processes, prepare training documentation and conduct training delivery; Breakdown of business requirements to develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will determine the estimate of cost, time and resources; Contribute to finding and implementing effective solutions in a matrix organization; Provide expert support of specific, approved local applications; Participate in national and international projects.
 

Who You Are
 

University degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline; More than four years of experience in IT development (application Architect or Tech lead) and or business analysis for Financial and Controlling area; Proven knowledge in SAP FICO processes, preferably S/4, in depth knowledge in Product Costing and/or Accounting & Reporting; Specialization in Controlling modules, with a focus on product costing, actual costing, and profitability analysis (COPA). Proven track record in optimizing cost structures and implementing effective cost accounting strategies. Expertise in configuring and maintaining product costing processes, ensuring accurate and reliable cost information. Capability to drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis within the Controlling module. Experience with EDI and interfaces; Very good business process knowledge; Knowledge in interface modeling, process and information design; Experience in conceptional work and basic skills in project management; Good Intercultural communication and presentation skills; Fluent in English, both written and oral; Ability to travel.
