Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand & Communications Manager to join our Marketing and Communications Team in Portugal. The Brand & Communications Manager will contribute to elevate our company's reputation, attract top talent, and drive business growth. This role is pivotal in maximising our corporate narrative, building strong media relationships, and fostering a compelling employer brand.
Key Responsibilities
Communications Strategy and Brand Positioning
Design and implement a comprehensive communications strategy focusing on building local brand awareness and enhancing the local company’s image and reputation, with business and brand strategies.
Develop and monitor brand and communication campaigns/initiatives, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, including events, website and social media channels.
Develop and implement employer branding strategies to attract and engage talent, in close collaboration with HR and Talent Acquisition teams.
Media Relations
Collaborate with the PR & Communications agency to develop and implement a media relations strategy aligned with the company's objectives.
Provide strategic guidance and support to the agency on key messaging and media opportunities.
Partner with the Leadership, Business Unit Directors and other internal stakeholders on key comms activities, including thought leadership opportunities.
Oversee media monitoring and analysis to measure the impact of media coverage.
Corporate Communications
Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate closely with the HR Team to ensure consistent messaging and alignment between internal and external communications.
Develop and distribute internal communications materials, including newsletters, intranet content, corporate events, and town hall presentations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor and analyse the performance of the initiatives, reporting on key metrics and adjusting strategies to optimise results.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
More than 5 years of work experience in similar positions, preferably within the tech or consulting industries.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform decision-making.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
