Your role in our team

We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer with a strong background in developing solutions and mobile applications for machines, coupled with expertise in PLC programming. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance the functionality, efficiency, and connectivity of our machines, while leveraging your proficiency in PLC programming to ensure seamless integration and performance

Main Responsabilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop innovative solutions and mobile applications for machines that meet or exceed expectations. Utilize your expertise in software development to design and implement intuitive user interfaces and features for mobile applications, enhancing the user experience and functionality. Develop and implement communication protocols and interfaces between machines and mobile applications, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange. Leverage your knowledge of PLC programming to design and implement control systems and logic for machines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Conduct thorough testing and validation of solutions and mobile applications, identifying and addressing any bugs or performance issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate solutions and mobile applications into existing machine systems, ensuring compatibility and functionality. Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders and customers, including training and troubleshooting as needed. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in automation and mobile application development, and actively contribute insights and recommendations to the team. Document solution and application development processes, including requirements , design, testing, and implementation, to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain documentation standards.

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in software development, with a focus on developing solutions and mobile applications for machines. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or React Native for mobile application development. Experience with mobile application frameworks and platforms, including iOS and Android. Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram programming. Experience with PLC hardware and software platforms, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with advancements in software development, automation, and mobile technologies. Prior experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery industry is advantageous.
