Position Overview:We are looking for a French-speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and moderating user-generated content on various digital platforms to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and standards. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of moderators, leveraging your language skills and cultural awareness to help create a positive online environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and moderate user-generated content in French across multiple digital platforms, including social media, forums, and messaging apps.
  • Identify and remove inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content, including but not limited to hate speech, harassment, and graphic imagery.
  • Enforce community guidelines and standards consistently and fairly, while also providing constructive feedback to users when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, and customer support, to address escalated issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in content moderation, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in French, both written and spoken, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with international teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathetic and culturally sensitive, with a deep understanding of diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
  • Prior experience in content moderation or customer support is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
