Job Description

Opportunity:

As a Mid-Level Power BI Developer, you will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to Leica.

Additionally, the person will have the opportunity to leverage expertise in integration to enhance their solutions by integrating Power BI with MS Fabric, CoPilot, and SAP systems.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders' needs Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis Collaborating with data engineers and analysts to acquire, clean, and transform data for reporting purposes Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports Providing training and support to end users on using Power BI Keeping up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and trends Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI with MS Fabric, CoPilot, and SAP systems, enabling seamless data flow and enhanced analytics capabilities

You will report to our Data Solutions Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction Knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations Familiarity with data warehouse concepts Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Adaptability to changing business requirements Familiarity with integration concepts and experience in integrating Power BI with external systems, such as MS Fabric, CoPilot, or SAP are a plus
