We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Engineering Team in Ponte de Lima, Portugal 

Main accountabilities, responsabilities and deliverables:

Support design, validation and release of inflator versions in accordance with customer specifications. Introduce and control product changes in regards design and performance in the change management system. Use of engineering tools such as fault tree analysis, DFMEA, statistical analysis, root cause analysis and margin testing. Application of Six Sigma tools in support of engineering efficiency and production process improvement projects. Responsible for planning and tracking prototype builds to assure on-time delivery to customers.

Required skills and experience / main competences:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Mechanical or equivalent). CAD and design experience is preferred. Fluent in English language. Knowledge in German is preferred. Working knowledge of basic statistics (Minitab), MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in team environment.
