Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual with keen interest in becoming an Engineer or a Product specialist within telecommunications, to join our growing team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in using API, configuring products and improving service for our fastest growing product. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience and build a career in product engineering. The focus will be on ensuring the delivery of services and collaborating with senior developers to learn and implement new techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configuring products and delivering new environments for customers hosted on our platform.
  • Assist customers with new technical deliveries.
  • Assisting the senior product and development teams with all aspects of debugging, operational quality and plenty other duties.
  • Working to analyse and identify bugs and implementing methods to fix them.
  • Monitoring and analysing the overall product performance.
  • Efficiently responding to requests for assistance in multiple technical activities within the product domain.
  • Investigating and liaising with colleagues that engage with customers to improve function and end user experience.
  • Deliver in depth analysis of product improvement that warrants prioritizing within senior developer sprint.
  • Improving our Testing and quality assurance to ensure the best and most reliable delivery.
  • Attend team and product meetings, collaborate in planning and gains of efficiency.
  • Enhance software development knowledge and become key contributor.

Requirements

    • 1 - 5 years’ hands on experience working within technical teams.
    • Basic programming experience and knowledge of coding languages.
    • Engineering Degree is a plus, but we will consider you if you demonstrate a strong work experience.
    • Hungry and eager to learn new software, products and technologies.
    • Comfortable with switching product focus.
    • Understands the importance of managing expectations on a daily basis.
    • Very clear and transparent communication in English.
    • Comfortable with working between senior individuals and contributing actively.
    • Exposure to internal and external facing projects.
    • Instinct into troubleshooting and problem solving.
    • Eagerness to understanding the end-to-end solution design and reason of certain chain of events. 
    • Holds great regards to quality and care.
