Within Euronext, the ESG Department is in charge of Euronext’s Sustainability journey, rolling out its 1.5 degree roadmap as well as ensuring that the non-financial information provided meets the needs of its various stakeholders including rating agencies.

The ESG team is also in charge of the development and promotion of sustainable financial products (indices, bonds, derivatives, equities etc.) as well as supporting Euronext clients in their ESG journey. Our mission is to build capital markets for future generations and position Euronext as a thought leader on Sustainable Finance topics. As ESG is a transversal topic that runs through the organization, the team works in collaboration with many geographies and teams to create and promote the ESG value proposition.

Within the Finance team, the V.I.E ESG Data Analyst will :

  • Actively contribute to the data collection, analysis and reporting required by the ESG strategy and regulation as addressed by and with the ESG Team and under the supervision of the ESG Data Manager
  • Work with the different business and departments to effectively collect and analyze ESG data
  • Assist the ESG team in the roll-out of new ESG regulations, by ensuring collection of new data points
  • Contribute to the preparation of regular internal  reporting on ESG related metrics, assist in analysis to help understand trends and where strategic controls are needed
  • Maintain accurate database from different sources of the relevant ESG metrics to ensure that both the ESG team and other internal stakeholders can answer the questions they have to for questionnaires (rating agencies, investors, clients etc.)
  • Be part of the roll-out of the relevant technology solution to manage ESG data collection, performance management and reporting and support the identification of opportunities for improvements on reporting requirements

Profile

  • Young professional with proven experience in analyzing and reporting financial and non-financial data sets
  • Very good command of English (oral and written)
  • Previous traineeship experience
  • Background in finance, accounting, sustainability or non-financial reporting
  • Understanding of ESG trends and regulatory framework
  • Attitude for project management
  • Proven experience in analytical/reporting skills
  • Good command of data mgt and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP, etc). Coding skills are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and complex environment
