Job Description:

We are currently seeking a meticulous and motivated Dutch Speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Lisbon. This role is essential in upholding the integrity of online platforms by reviewing and moderating user-generated content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies. As a Content Moderator, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and enjoyable online environment for users, while gaining valuable experience in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Review and Moderation:

    • Diligently review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, in Dutch.
    • Ensure that all content complies with established community guidelines and policies.
    • Identify, flag, and escalate content that violates guidelines or poses potential risks.
  • Feedback and Reporting:

    • Provide accurate and constructive feedback to content creators regarding community standards and moderation decisions.
    • Maintain detailed records of moderation activities and decisions for reporting purposes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine content policies and procedures.
  • Community Engagement:

    • Engage with the online community to foster a positive and safe user experience.
    • Address user inquiries and concerns related to content moderation in a professional and timely manner.
    • Participate in community-building initiatives and projects as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay informed about changes in content policies, industry trends, and best practices.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the moderation process by sharing insights and suggestions.
    • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency:

    • Native or fluent in Dutch with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in English (minimum B2 level) to effectively communicate with the team and management.
  • Attention to Detail:

    • Strong ability to identify and address content that violates community guidelines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Work Ethic:

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • High level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive content.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in content moderation or a related field is a plus, but not required.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms and online community dynamics is advantageous.
