THE ROLE

As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will be the main responsible to build and implement all the reporting and financial planning capabilities of our Central Europe Region. Your responsibilities will include creating the budgeting, forecasting and reporting structure, implementing a reporting and forecasting cadence, all the necessary tools and coordinating the efforts of the FP&A Analysts to produce all the required financial information and analysis.

Your contributions will directly impact business decisions by providing insights, establishing targets, identifying action items, and effectively framing decisions on operational, financial and strategic matters. You will be joining our Financial Planning and Reporting, reporting directly to the Finance Director, and working very closely with stakeholders across all the organization.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Develop and refine the financial reporting structure of management accounts
  • Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
  • Develop and refine financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights on financial performance.
  • Collaborate with the finance teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
  • Support strategic decision-making through in-depth financial analysis and reporting.
  • Identify trends and recommend actions for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to gather necessary data and provide financial insights.
  • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, preferably in a senior or specialist role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a track record of delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software tools.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, ability to work independently and coordinate other team members.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations.
  • You are motivated by taking ownership of your projects;
  • Fluency in English.
