What we are looking for:
To support us on our mission, we are looking for a talented and highly ambitious Billing Specialist. In this role, you will review account information, correct discrepancies and ensure that invoices are properly issued. To be successful as a Billing Specialist, you should be a conscientious individual with excellent communication and accounting skills. You should be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and have an affinity for numbers.
Processing of customer inquiries regarding invoice corrections, cancellations, new invoices, and VAT corrections React to client account queries in a timely and professional manner Research and implement creative, yet governance-compliant solutions and techniques to facilitate payments Ensure customer satisfaction Liaise between internal teams (Finance, Sales, Customer Success Management) and external customers
Basic Qualifications:
Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal Previous experience in an equivalent role Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification Comprehensive understanding of corporate procurement processes and terms and conditions (e.g. T&Cs, MSAs and GTCs) Excellent skills in problem-solving, (self) time-management, organizing and administration duties Professional in MS-Office, especially MS-Excel Respectful, empathetic and patient approach to customers and if necessary good skills in deescalating Fluent written and spoken English language skills are mandatory, German or another second language are a plus
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with Oracle NetSuite Previous worked with HubSpot You are friendly, well-structured, and analytical
